When I was ten, I had a dream about a boy who transformed into a dragon. When I woke up, I was sad because I would never know the story of that boy. Then I realized that I could know the story, I just had to write it. The story evolved as I grew older, gaining important story elements such as plot and character development. The book took me almost eight years to write and I still sometimes marvel that I had the dedication to see it through to the end.

In more recent years my writing has primarily been philosophy papers or public-policy briefings. Though I found my work and schooling both rewarding and challenging, in 2021 I decided the time had come for a second novel, one that I will actually try to publish. I saved my money, quit my job in December, and created this website to share my work.
